  Pau Ferro: (Machaerium schleroxylon.)  Also known as Morado or Bolivian Rosewood, this wood originates from Bolivia and is prized for its fine grain and beautiful coloration.  Although not a true rosewood, it is dense and oily.  Pau Ferro’s color ranges from amber to dark brown with darker grain highlights.
